During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we noticed a lack of accessible and accurate health information. The World Health Organization (WHO) describes this combination of misinformation and overload of disordered information during an epidemic as an "infodemic." We recognized that the health-related coursework we had previously taken at Cornell helped us distinguish between accurate information and misinformation amidst this infodemic. In response, HEART was created to provide a channel for students in the Ithaca community to receive information from our education in a more digestible and interactive manner. Our goal is to provide students with knowledge, through credible curriculums, to support their ability to make healthy decisions.
